Aluminum profile surface: Causes of scratches, scratches, and scratches:
1. Foreign objects adhering to the surface of the ingot
2. Ingot composition segregation, with a large amount of segregation floating on the surface
3. When the ingot has not undergone homogenization treatment or the homogenization treatment effect is not good, there is a certain amount of hard metal particles inside the ingot. During the extrusion process, when the metal flows through the working strip, these segregation floats or hard metal particles adhere to the surface of the working strip or cause damage to the working strip, ultimately causing scratches on the surface of the profile.
4. There are debris on the mold cavity or work strip, and the hardness of the mold work strip is low, which causes damage to the surface of the work strip during extrusion and scratches on the profile;
5. There are exposed metal or graphite strips on the discharge track or bed, with hard inclusions inside. When they come into contact with the profile, they cause scratches on the surface of the profile;
6. When the fork rod is used to transport the profile from the discharge track to the swing bed, the profile is damaged due to excessive speed;
7. Scratches caused by manually dragging profiles on the bed;
8. Damage caused by mutual friction or compression between profiles during transportation.
Solution:
1. Strictly control the quality of chemical composition of ingots;
2. Improve the quality of mold repair,
3. Improve the precision of mold manufacturing and regularly nitride the mold, and strictly implement the nitriding process parameters;
4. Use soft felt and plastic strips to isolate the profile from the auxiliary equipment, and minimize contact damage between the profile and the auxiliary equipment as much as possible;
5. During production, it is necessary to handle the profiles with care and avoid dragging or flipping them randomly as much as possible;
6. Reasonably arrange the profiles in the material frame to avoid mutual friction as much as possible.
